What’s my purpose?

What am I doing? What’s my direction? Is this the right thing to do? are questions we often have for ourselves, and it’s normal to get lost and to feel somewhat empty, life is hard, relationships are difficult, and to maintain a healthy life can feel almost impossible.

Finding your purpose is tough, and some people discover their motivation later in life, but let me tell you, is not impossible, I understand is easy to give up and get used to live a life of conformity, monotony and sadness, but is worth it, if you try to understand what your true being is trying to tell you and what your heart wants, you can find happiness, joy, and be a light in other people’s lifes.

You can conquer anything you set your mind to, take a leap of faith and try it.

Where to go while visiting Amsterdam?

This city is magic, and so much fun to be in, it will captivate you and make you fall in love with her from the minute you step into it.

It’s a city full of surprises and stunning corners, remarkable sceneries, never ending adventure, and amazing people that complements it, so now I’m going to recommend my favourite places in this breathtaking city.

–Anne Frank House:

From the moment you step into this house, you instantly get chills all over your body, if you know the history of this girl, you understand how special she was, how inspiring and remarkable young girl she was, and walking around this house, while seeing her hiding spot, where she lived with her family for so much time, you’re getting to know her better, and just the thought of her being gone forever, all that sass and intelligence just gone, you can not help the feelings and watery eyes. It was truly an amazing experience for me, so inspiring and astonishing, is a must go if you’re in town. (I recommend reading Anne Frank’s journal again if you’re visiting, so you have a better intake of how her life was like)

–Van Gogh Museum:

Do you have a favourite painting? a masterpiece that you relate with and you feel connects with your being? I have two and they are located in this museum. I’ve always been interested in Van Gogh’s life and art, I find it inspiring despite the difficult life that this artist had, so I went to this museum with high expectations and the thought of seeing my favourite paintings had me excited. When I got to see them…it was a nearly spiritual experience for me, I’m telling you chills all over my body, watery eyes and I couldn’t believe how a painting could ignite such a reaction in me, but that’s what good art does to you, true?. So if you love art and appreciate it, I recommend this museum.

Price: €17.00 adults, children <17: €12.50, <11: free.

-Walk around:

Just walk around…this place has magic everywhere you look, hypnotic sceneries, astonishing little corners, charming people and you will have the time of your life. Walk around the Jordaan District (is a beautiful neighbourhood near the center of town) full of surprises, captivating places, and of course magical views of the canals that circle this city.

Walk in the Dam Square, where you’ll always find music, performers, art and lots of fun everywhere you look! this city is a never-ending blast!

I recommend that you buy all your museum tickets online, because lines get crazy long!

So put your sneakers on and go explore the amazing Amsterdam!

¿Tiene usted una pintura favorita? una obra maestra con que te relacionas y la sientes conectada con tu ser? Yo tengo dos y se encuentran en este museo. Siempre he estado interesada en la vida y el arte de Van Gogh, me resulta inspirador a pesar de la difícil vida que este artista tenía, así que fui a este museo con grandes expectativas y la idea de ver mis pinturas favoritas me había emocionado. Cuando llegué a verlos … fue una experiencia casi espiritual para mí, yo te digo escalofríos por todo el cuerpo, con los ojos llorosos y yo no podía creer cómo una pintura podría encender una tal reacción en mí, pero eso es lo que el buen arte causa en las personas, verdad?. Así que si te gusta el arte y la aprecias, te recomiendo este museo.

-Camine:

Este lugar tiene magia donde quiera que se mire, paisajes hipnóticos, pequeños rincones sorprendentes, gente encantadora y usted tendrá el tiempo de su vida. Camine por el Distrito Jordaan (es un hermoso barrio cerca del centro de la ciudad), lleno de sorpresas, lugares fascinantes, y puntos de vista, por supuesto mágicas vistas de los canales que rodean esta ciudad.
Caminar en la Plaza Dam, donde siempre encontrarás música, artistas, arte y mucha diversión por doquier! esta ciudad es una explosión de nunca acabar!

Así que use sus zapatillas de deporte y vaya a explorar la increíble Amsterdam!

The wonders of the Dominican Republic

I try to always talk about beautiful and interesting places, and I believe this is by far the most special to me.

I was bought to the Dominican Republic when I was little of age, it’s all I knew, I grew up going to the beach every weekend, swimming in crystalline waters and enjoying  white sands, I grew up an adventurous, with a little bit of wilderness and salty hair, and I loved every second.

But I would like to point something out, the perception that the world has of my country is all wrong, while I accept the beauty of the sea and sceneries that we have, it’s important to remember there’s so much more than that, there’s also beautiful country views, mangroves, sowings of everything you can imagine, it’s not only hot weather, you can also find cold in the mountains (to the point of almost snow), and don’t forget about the amazing people that live there, they’re humble, good-hearted, willing to help and so much more!

Places I recommend:

Los 27 charcos de Damajagua: 

Nestled in the rolling hills of the Northern Corridor
mountain range and behind the long stalks of sugar cane lays a treasure you won’t find anywhere else in the world. Mother Nature has crafted twenty-seven awe-inspiring pools, etched out of limestone, for your enjoyment.

Constanza:
It’s one of the highest towns in the Dominican Republic, with dry and cold weather and amazing people, you can visit “el Salto de Jimenoa”, which is an awesome waterfall, you can bathe and enjoy of the nature and peace of it all.

Cayo Arena:

It’s a paradise island, private and sooo beautiful, it can
take your breath away, it’s my favourite place by far, and is so worth going. You can snorkel, and enjoy a peaceful day in nature at it’s truest form. I recommend 100%.

So if you ever go to the Dominican Republic, remember this places and don’t hesitate to go and discover all that it has to offer, you won’t regret it!

Siempre trato de hablar siempre de lugares bonitos e interesantes, y creo que este es el más especial para mí.

Crecí en la República Dominicana, yendo a la playa cada fin de semana, nadando en aguas cristalinas y disfrutando de arenas blancas, me crié una aventura, con un poco de la vida silvestre y el pelo salado, y me encantó cada segundo.

Pero me gustaría señalar algo, la percepción que el mundo tiene de mi país está mal, mientras que yo acepto la belleza del mar y paisajes que tenemos, es importante recordar que hay mucho más que eso, hermosas vistas, los manglares, las siembras de todo lo que se puede imaginar, no es sólo caluroso todo el año, también se puede encontrar en frío en las montañas (hasta el punto de casi nieve), y no olvides la calidad de personas que viven allí, personas de buen corazón, con ganas de ayudar y mucho más!

Lugares que recomiendo:

Los 27 Charcos de Damajagua:

Ubicado en las colinas del Corredor Norte y detrás de los largos tallos de caña de azúcar establece un tesoro que no encontrará en ningún otro lugar del mundo. La madre naturaleza ha creado veinte y siete piscinas impresionantes, grabadas en piedra caliza, para su disfrute.

Constanza:
Es una de las ciudades más hermosas de la República Dominicana, con clima seco y frío y gente increíble, se puede visitar “el Salto de Jimenoa”, que es una cascada impresionante, podrá bañarse y disfrutar de la naturaleza y la paz de todo.

Cayo Arena:

Es un paraíso de la isla,  privado y tan hermosa, que puede quitar el aliento, es mi lugar favorito, y puedo afirmar que sí que vale la pena ir. Se puede bucear, y disfrutar de un día tranquilo en la naturaleza en su forma más verdadera. Recomendado 100%.

Así que si alguna vez vas a la República Dominicana, recuerde estos lugares y no dude en ir a descubrir todo lo que tiene que ofrecer, no te arrepentirás!

Magical Morocco teached me to be fearless

adj. without fear; bold or brave; intrepid.

That’s what I learned when I went to MOROCCO, 22 years old, my first time travelling alone, with only my backpack, wishful thinking, and dreams accompanying me, and let me tell you…it was awesome!

First step, was the most difficult part for me, (making the decision), I had all the information based on lots of research and hours of just thinking about it, but I was so scared of so many things (going alone, my safety, what ifs?) and a lot of people that I talked to about it told me I was crazy and started telling me stories about other women getting abducted or killed there (that didn’t help), and now I say to them “Thank you for helping me making a decision based on my gut, your negative comments didn’t got me”  if you want to say something, say something helpful, or nothing at all.

Let’s be honest, Morocco is a beautiful place with a culture so rich and to die for, so many interesting places to see and so different from all the places I’ve been too, but as a solo travel woman, it can be scary, but sometimes you just need to overcome your fears in order to experience the best in life.

Second step, decision made, (getting ready for my trip), I recollected information from people that went there on places to go, what to wear, where and things to eat, must go’s?. Absorbed everything and got to work! made my suitcase, had my maps ready, made copies of all my documents. I recommend to be as organised and careful as you can if you’re planning on a similar trip.

Third step, (Went and lived my experience), I went with a positive and opened mind, and It was the most rewarding experience ever, I got to meet a lot of interesting people, whom I hope I can see again in the future, I got to ride camels (it was a dream of mine since I was a little kid), experienced the true Moroccan culture, ate things I never thought I would’ve (I didn’t like most of them, but hey, at least I tried 🙂 ), it was honestly more than I expected (and I had super high expectations).

I believe in the power of the mind, that when you do what you fear the most, you can do anything, you just have to set your mind to it and the rest will come, so I want you to try what I did, overcome your fears and get ready to live!

I will make a post of recommendations on Morocco so you know my favorite and most inspiring places.

No tener miedo:
Es lo que aprendí cuando fui a Marruecos, 22 años, mi primera vez viajando sola, acompañada de mi mochila, ilusiones, y mis sueños, y déjame decirte … fue increíble!

El primer paso, fue la parte más difícil para mí, (tomar la decisión), ya tenía toda la información a base de un montón de investigación en internet y libros, y horas de sólo pensar en ello, pero yo estaba tan asustada de tantas cosas (ir sola, mi seguridad , ¿qué pasaría si?) y un montón de gente me decía que estaba loca y me contaban historias de otras mujeres siendo secuestradas o asesinadas allí (que no ayudó para nada), y ahora les diré a esas personas: “Gracias por ayudarme a tomar una decisión sobre la base de mis entrañas, sus comentarios negativos no influyeron en mí “. Consejo: si quieres decir algo, dí algo útil, o nada en absoluto.

Seamos honestos, Marruecos es un lugar hermoso con una cultura tan rica y para morirse, así que muchos lugares interesantes para ver y tan diferente de todos los lugares que he estado, pero como mujer viajando sola, puede ser aterrador, pero a veces uno sólo tiene que superar sus miedos para poder experimentar lo mejor en la vida.

Segundo paso, decisión tomada, (preparación para mi viaje), hablé con personas que han estado allí y me recomendaron lugares para ir, qué ropa ponerme, y cosas para comer. Absorbí todo y me puse a trabajar! hice mi maleta, tenía mis mapas listos, hice copias de todos mis documentos. Recomiendo ser tan organizado y cuidadoso como sea posible si usted está pensando en un viaje similar.

Tercer paso, (fuí a vivir mi experiencia), me fui con una mente positiva y abierta, y fue la experiencia más gratificante que he tenido, llegué a conocer a mucha gente interesante, que yo espero poder ver de nuevo en el futuro, llegué a montar camellos (que era un sueño de la mente desde que era un niña pequeño), experimenté la verdadera cultura marroquí, comí cosas que nunca pensé que iba a comer (no me gustó la mayoría de ellos, pero bueno, al menos Traté :)), honestamente, fue más de lo que esperaba (y yo tenía muy altas expectativas).

Creo en el poder de la mente, que luego de que haces lo que más temes, puedes llegar a hacer cualquier cosa, sólo tienes que poner tu mente a eso y el resto vendrá, así que quiero que pruebes lo que hice, supera tus miedos y prepárate para vivir!

Voy a hacer un post de recomendaciones sobre Marruecos para que sepas mis lugares favoritos y más inspiradores.

Perks of travelling by yourself

ME, BEING A WOMAN, TRAVELLING ALONE USED TO BE A BIG NO for ME, BECAUSE OF THE DANGERS THAT EXISTS IN THE WORLD, EVERYDAY REMINDING US THAT WE LIVE IN A DANGEROUS PLACE, BUT LET’S NOT FORGET that earth Is ALSO BEAUTIFUL, INSPIRING AND has AMAZING PEOPLE THAT inhabits in her.

I understand travelling to a destination that you’ve never been to is always scary, even more if you’re alone, and let me tell you that the most important thing for me is to stay safe on the road, but take a break and think about the amazing experience you’re about to start, so now I’m going to list why I believe it’s a rewarding experience when I travel by myself:

-I get to know ME better:

While on the road, you have time to think a lot about yourself and your decisions in life, this is the perfect scenario to have lots of conversations with yourself and learn to love your being in the process.

-It’s fun to be in unexpected situations:

It’s part of the process of getting to know you better, you’ll learn about how you react to certain situations and what makes you uncomfortable, what you like and how to ask for it (because you have no other way), you get to reach your full potential, explore new places, and learn about yourself, could you ask for more?

-You get to reinvent yourself:

When you travel alone, you get to meet lots of people while on the road, people that can be in your life for 5 minutes or for a lifetime, so don’t be shy and get to know them, you owe it to yourself, open your mind to different people that can collaborate with your being and your process of growth, show your true self.

-You learn the value of your money:

When you’re young you spend and spend without thinking the hours of work and effort that money costed to your parents, that’s why I find this experience so rewarding. In my travels I learned how important is to save and make the most of what I have, I learned the true value of what I earned, and of course, I learned to be more grateful with my parents that gave me everything they could in the process.

It’s a win-win situation, of course you have to be careful and be prepared for any situation, so be safe and don’t be scared, go and have the experience of a lifetime!

Es parte del proceso de llegar a conocerte mejor, usted aprenderá acerca de cómo reacciona ante ciertas situaciones y lo que te hace incómodo, lo que te gusta y cómo pedir lo que le gusta (porque no tienes otra forma), se llega a alcanzar su pleno potencial, explorar nuevos lugares, aprender acerca de usted mismo, se puede pedir más?

-Usted puede reinventarse:

Cuando usted viaja solo, se llega a conocer a mucha gente en el camino, personas que pueden estar en tu vida durante 5 minutos o para toda la vida, así que no seas tímido y llega a conocerlos, te lo debes a ti mismo, abre tu mente a diferentes personas que pueden colaborar con su ser y de su proceso de crecimiento, muestra tu verdadero yo.

-Aprenderá el verdadero valor de su dinero:
Cuando uno es joven, gasta y gasta sin pensar en las horas de trabajo y esfuerzo que el dinero le costó a sus padres, por eso me parece que esta experiencia es tan gratificante. En mis viajes he aprendido lo importante que es ahorrar y sacar el máximo provecho de lo que tengo, he aprendido el verdadero valor de lo que tengo, y por supuesto, he aprendido a ser más agradecido con mis padres que dieron todo lo que pudieron en el proceso.

Es una situación de ganar-ganar, por supuesto, usted tiene que tener cuidado y estar preparados para cualquier situación, así que esté a salvo y no tengas miedo, ve y vive la mejor experiencia de toda tu vida!

4 Tips for your first time living abroad

There’s a first time for everything, and change is never easy, but I believe is worth it, because there’s charm and wisdom behind every new experience, so if you’re planning on living abroad, or if you have everything ready, don’t be afraid and explore on!

Here’s some tips I wish someone would’ve told me a year ago, enjoy!:

-Double check everything:

Don’t forget to check your passport, university info, take the appropriate wardrobe (think about the seasons and climate change), have your electronic devices fully charged, take copies of all your documents and leave them at home and also take copies with you, check that you have convertors and adapters, check the currency of the place you’re going and change a little bit of money (so you’re covered when you get there), call your bank and notify your trip (important so your credit cards don’t gets blocked).

Also check your reservations (if you don’t have a place to stay and plan to start looking when you get there, note: be careful with rentals websites, they often trick young people and students with amazing deals that are lies, so be careful and attentive)

It’s important to have everything ready so your arrival can be calmed and not stressful at all.

-Take something from home that reminds you of your closed ones:

It can be a framed picture that you can put in your new home, or a bracelet, or a letter, anything that makes you feel close to them, it’s never easy to move away from the most important people of your life, but think about the people you’re going to meet, it’s going to be an amazing experience I’m sure! so don’t be sad :).

-Move with almost everything ready:

I recommend that you have almost everything ready, go informed of everything, like resident card that you’ll need, or cellphones plans (I recommend that you get a prepaid if you’re travelling for a year or less, it’s cheaper and you’re not married to any company), try and contact a realtor so as soon as you get to the place you can start looking for a home (and pay less in hotels), so you can get to explore as soon as you arrive to your new city!

-Go with an opened mind

Making new friends is never easy, even if you’re a social butterfly in your home, you’re going to a new country, a new culture, so is normal for people to be different, but those friends you make abroad will open your mind incredibly, you’ll going to learn so much, so don’t be afraid of new things, you’ll love it.

So if moving abroad is in your plans (I’m so jealous!!) I wish you the best!! you’re never going to regret this decision, travel a lot (alone and with company), eat a lot, meet everyone that wants to talk to you ! they’re going to teach you something for sure,  try new things, and don’t be lazy!!! go out and breath as much as you can, I assure you this is going to be the perk of your life, good luck!

-Ve con una mente abierta:

Hacer nuevos amigos nunca es fácil, incluso si usted es una mariposa social en su hogar, usted va a un nuevo país, una nueva cultura, por lo que es normal que la gente sea diferente, pero aquellos amigos que realice en el extranjero abrirá su mente  increíblemente, usted va a aprender mucho, así que no tengas miedo de las cosas nuevas, te va a encantar.

Never have I ever travelled to Phuket

My favourite thing to do is to dream of places I want to visit, cultures I want to get to know, and people I want to meet in those places, I love it, I find it relaxing, and also a little stressful at the same time, today I’m going to tell you about a wonderful land called Phuket, Thailand.

I’m sure you’ve seen pictures of Phuket, images of that place have been circling the web for a long time, you’ll recognise the beautiful cristal clear water, little boats reflecting in the sea, hamacas under palm trees and dramatic rock formations, Phuket is the largest island in Thailand and therefore one of the most interesting, making it the best destination ever, it’s on my bucket list for sure!

 Why do I want to visit? It’s simple, being a caribbean girl I’m attracted to beautiful sceneries, warm weather, sunsets that take my breath away and of course coconut water! and this place has every one of my requests. (Don’t forget about delicious island food!)

I understand it’s far away (almost 25 hours of flying and airports just to get there from where I am!) and a little bit expensive (depends of the season and the time of purchase of the tickets, in my opinion the further the better, because you can get better deals, so plan with lots of time ahead) but I believe is worth it if you think a place can inspire you and give you a lifetime experience impossible to forget, so leave aside your traveling fears and prepare to have an experience of a lifetime in beautiful Phuket!

¿Por qué la quiero visitar? Es muy sencillo, al ser una chica del caribe, me atraen los hermosos paisajes, el clima cálido, las puestas de sol que me quiten el aliento y el agua de coco, por supuesto! y este lugar tiene cada uno de mis peticiones. (No se olvide de la deliciosa comida isleña!)

Entiendo que es lejos (casi 25 horas de vuelo y aeropuertos sólo para llegar allí!) Y un poco caro (depende de la temporada y el momento de la compra de los billetes, usted puede conseguir mejores ofertas mientras más lejos de la fecha los compra, así que planee con mucho tiempo por delante), pero creo que vale la pena si usted piensa que un lugar puede inspirarle y le dará una experiencia de vida imposible de olvidar, así que deje a un lado sus temores de viaje y prepárese para tener una experiencia de toda una vida en la hermosa Phuket!

5 Recommendations for travelling on a budget

I’m a student, so I know a little bit about stretching my budget and trying to do as much as I can with it, that’s why I’m going to give you my tips for traveling and saving.

1. Check you options:

Before booking in a hotel or a flight, stop and breath, you have to look for your best options, I often visit different websites that offer the best travel deals in accommodations and transport, a list of my favourites sites:

–Google Flights: It’s the first site I go when I want to plan a trip, it helps
me get an estimate of the prices of the flights, It has a lot of options like compare pric
es of the cities near your destination, shows you the variations of the prices in certain dates, and I find it very helpful.

–Expedia: This site has a lot of options, discounts, it has a great app that I find useful.

–Skyscanner: It’s easy to use, and offers great deals of transportation and accommodation.

–Kayak:
 It’s a great site with thousands of options of airfares and deals, the more flexible you are with dates and locations, the better deals you can catch

–TripAdvisor: It’s the most popular review site, and if you search for a location, the site’ll give you great options of accommodations and ways to get around.

–CruiseCompete: Some people don’t like to travel in Cruises, but I recommend it if you have a low budget, it’s a great way to get to know different places in little time and saving money. This site offers great cruise deals.

Those are my favourite, of course I recommend that you check each of them before booking anything and see which one has the best deal.

2. Stay in hostels if you’re on a budget:

Hostels are great if you want to meet interesting people, save some money and live an experience, they owners are often locals, that means great recommendations, they often have free bikes, provide you with a city map, and more!

Of course it’s not always great, you have to check for reviews and see if the hostel reaches your expectations and pocket of course.

3. Travel on bus:

It’s honestly the cheapest way to travel, you can get amazing
deals, the only con is that often the trips are long, but with a good playlist, or
book time flies! Also the options are endless, they’re buses with wifi and super confortable sits that makes the trip easier.

4. Travel light:

If you can of course, I always say less is more, if you’re travelling with a backpack it’s easier to get around also cheaper, because low cost airlines are so difficult when you’re travelling with a carry one, they make life imposible by requesting certain size and weight, so I would say travelling light is way more fun and easy !

5. Don’t be afraid of low cost airlines:

They saved my life while living in Europe!, yes..seats are uncomfortable and the planes are crowded, but the prices are so good and the travel locations endless! It’s worth it, so travel light and get in a low cost airline right now!

Note: Check for the airport location always, because they often travel to nearby airports to the city you want to go, and you have to take a bus from there to the city, so calculate the time and money you’re going to spend before booking.

2. Permanezca en albergues si usted está en un presupuesto:

Si usted puede, por supuesto, menos es más, si vas a viajar con una mochila, es más fácil moverse también más barato, porque las aerolíneas low cost son aveces difíciles cuando estás de viaje con un acarreo, mediante la solicitud de cierto tamaño y peso, así que yo diría que viajar ligero es mucho más divertido y fácil!

5. No tenga miedo de compañías de bajo coste:

Visit Seattle, Washington

Last year I had the opportunity to visit Seattle, I was in Miami at the time, so I had to travel 6 hours to get there, and I wasn’t expecting much, I didn’t know anything about the city, I just though it was a rainy and a gray place, where 50 shades of grey takes place (haha), oh man I was so wrong!!

Seattle is a beautiful city, from the moment you get there you begin
to see and feel the essence of the city, which is a combination of nature, culture, great food, smart people, and beautiful scenery everywhere you look.

The air you breath is pure, the
weather (though some people find annoying, I don’t) is rainy most of the time, but I find important that a city has to have a diferencial point, and this is it for Seattle, you can go a little bit south and you will meet with the sunny and nice California, but is not the case of Seattle, they have cozy and sweater weather which I love and I believe you would like a change of scene too.
Food is so variable, because of the variety of cultures that habit Seattle, I loved going to the Pike Place Market, is a Market full of wonderful food and beautiful flowers (Favorite: Greek Yogurt, salmon (Seattle’s signature fish) and Scallop Chowder!!! 100% recommended)

The only thing I found weird food wise is that the majority of restaurants close at 5 or 6pm, but when the food is so amazing who cares!?. Did I mention that Starbucks was founded there? that means AMAZING coffee too.

I felt so close with nature and I loved it, you can also take a free ferry that takes you to a near island and take in the scenery of the Seattle skyline (looove) and it’s free!

Favorite places to visit:

–Space Needle: Is and emblematic Seattle attraction, and the highest point of the city, I’d say is worth going, I love touristy places and this is the most famous attraction in the city.

–Chihuly Garden and Glass: I recommend this place 100%, if you like art and inspiring places, this museum is full of art and history and you get to learn about the glass technique that Chihuly created, this is his legacy.

–Safeco Field: Home of the Seattle Mariners.

If your a fan of sports this is for you! I got the chance of watching a baseball game there (being a dominican and getting to see Robinson Cano playing was an amazing opportunity for me) and I truly loved it, the fans there are devoted and fun to be around.

El año pasado tuve la oportunidad de visitar Seattle, estaba en Miami en el momento, así que tuvimos que viajar 6 horas para llegar allí, y no me esperaba mucho, yo no sabía nada acerca de la ciudad, sólo que es lluviosa y  gris, y es donde 50 tonos de gris tiene lugar (jaja), oh hombre estaba tan equivocada!

Seattle es una ciudad bella, desde el momento en que llegas allí comienzas a
ver y sentir la esencia de la ciudad, que es una combinación de naturaleza, la cultura, la comida, la gente inteligente, y un hermoso paisaje donde quiera que mires.
El aliento de aire es puro, el clima (aunque algunas personas les molesta, a mi no) es lluvioso la mayor parte del tiempo, pero me parece importante que una ciudad tenga  un punto diferencial, y esto es para Seattle, puede ir un poco más al sur y usted se reunirá con el soleado y agradable de California, pero no es el caso de Seattle, tiene un clima acogedor y suéter que me encanta.

La comida es tan variable, debido a la variedad de culturas que el hábito de Seattle, me encantaba ir al mercado de Pike Place, es un mercado lleno de maravillosa comida y hermosas flores (favorita: yogur griego, salmón (pescado oficial de Seattle) y Vieira Chowder! !! 100% recomendado) El único que encontré extraño es que la mayoría de los restaurantes cierran a las 5 o6:00, pero cuando la comida es tan increíble que importa!?. ¿He mencionado que Starbucks se fundó allí? eso significa que el café increíble es también.

Me sentía tan cercana con la naturaleza y me encantó, también puedes tomar un ferry gratuito que te lleva a una isla cercana y disfrutar del paisaje de la ciudad de Seattle (looove) y es gratis!

Lugares favoritos para visitar:

-Space Needle: Es la más emblemática atracción de Seattle, y el punto más alto de la ciudad, yo diría que vale la pena ir, me encanta lugares turísticos.

-Chihuly Garden and Glass: te recomiendo este lugar 100%, si te gusta el arte y lugares de inspiración, este museo está lleno de arte e historia y se llega a aprender acerca de la técnica de cristal que Chihuly creó, este es su legado.

-Safeco Campo: Si eres un fanático de los deportes esto es para ti! Tuve la oportunidad de ver un partido de béisbol allí (ser un dominicano y llegar a ver Robinson Cano jugando era una oportunidad increíble para mí) y realmente me encantó, los fans de allí son increíbles y es divertido disfrutar un partido en este maravilloso lugar!

Magical Belgium stole my heart

Don’t pay attention if someone tries to convince you that Belgium is a boring country, that’s far from the truth, if you love history, amazing food, awesome beer, this is the place for you!

I’ve been there 2 times in this year alone and the reason it’s simple, I love places that inspire, and I think Belgium truly has magic, from walking in the streets, to visiting museums and famous tourists attractions like the Manekin Pis and the Atomium, you’re constantly experiencing something. It’s also a country with so much culture, and people with such liberal attitudes, It’s amazing to see and experience.

Being a small country, you can travel from one point to another easily (by train or car) and no city is farther than -2 hours, also it’s cheap to travel by train.

• Places i’ve been that I recommend:

-Ghent:

This is by far my favorite city in Belgium! This place has amazing architecture, you can go on foot and you will have the best time sight seeing, it’s an historic
al city, full of antiques and colours that’ll make you fall in love with it.

-Brugge:

It’s one of the most famous cities in Belgium, it’s often called the “Venice of the North” and I agree with
that, this place is just as beautiful.

I recommend to walk or take a bus from the train station, and go to the Markt, it’s the Market Square, it’s the heart of the city, from there, you walk everywhere and explore all that this amazing place has to offer.

-Brussels:

This is the capital of Belgium, and it’s worth getting to know! Did I mention AMAZING FOOD? you can only love here, from amazing Waffles to delicious Belg
ian Frites (Fries), and of course a crafted beer on the side (LOVE)!!

Favorite places to eat and drink: Delirium (the oldest and coolest bar ever!), Maison Antoine (The best frites in Belgium, sure, the line is crazy but oh so worth it!), and I can’t recommend a waffle place because I loved every single one that I tried!

Places to go: Atomium, Manneken Pis, Place Royale, Mont des Arts.

So, there you go, experience and eat Belgium away, give it a try it may be the best trip ever!

He estado allí 2 veces en este año y la razón es simple, me encanta lugares que inspiran, y creo que Bélgica tiene verdaderamente mágica, de caminar por las calles, a visitar museos y famosas atracciones turísticas como el Manekin Pis y la Atomium, usted está constantemente experimentando algo. Es también un país con tanta cultura, y las personas con este tipo de actitudes liberales, Es increíble de experimentar.
Al ser un país pequeño, se puede viajar de un punto a otro con facilidad (en tren o en coche) y ninguna ciudad está más lejos que -2 horas, también es barato viajar en tren.

Lugares que he estado que recomiendan:

-Gante:

Esto es, por mucho, mi ciudad favorita en Bélgica! Este lugar tiene una arquitectura impresionante, se puede ir a pie a todos lados y usted tendrá la mejor visión, es un lugar histórico, llena de antigüedades y colores que va a hacer que se enamore de ella.

-Brugge:
Es una de las ciudades más famosas de Bélgica, a menudo llamada la “Venecia del Norte” y estoy de acuerdo con eso, este lugar es tan hermoso.

Recomiendo caminar o tomar un autobús desde la estación de tren, y vaya a la plaza mayor, que es la
plaza del mercado, que es el corazón de la ciudad, a partir de ahí, se puede caminar por todas partes y explorar todo lo que este maravilloso lugar tiene para ofrecer.

-Bruselas:

Esta es la capital de Bélgica, y vale la pena conocerla! ¿He mencionado la comida es alucinante? sólo se puede amar aquí, de increíble Waffles a deliciosas Frites (Fries), y, por supuesto, una cerveza artesanal all lado (AMOR) !!

Lugares favoritos para comer y beber: Delirium (el bar más antiguo y más chulo!!), Maison Antoine (Las mejores patatas fritas en Bélgica, segu
ro, la línea es una locura, pero ¡vale la pena!), Y no puedo recomendar un lugar waffle porque me encantó cada uno que lo probé!
Lugares para ir: Antomium, Manneken Pis, la Place Royale, el Mont des Arts.

Así que, ahí lo tienes, la experiencia y come Bélgica distancia, darle una oportunidad, puede ser el mejor viaje de mi vida!
